Alok Saxena, Managing Director, Sulzer GTC India, recently conducted a training class on operation of the Aromatic Extraction Unit at JG Summit, Batangas, Philippines. The unit utilizes Sulzer GTC’s GT-BTX® technology. The class of 26 trainees from JG Summit had the opportunity to interact with staff members who have operational experience with GT-BTX® plants in India.

Subsequently, in June, the same client (JG Summit) sent a delegation of eight people – two process engineers, one plant manager and other operators – for a site visit at SCG’s MOC plant in Rayong. Guided by Sashikant Madgula, Sulzer GTC Regional Sales Manager, Southeast Asia, there was a lot of discussion and Q&A with the MOC plant operations team and process engineers on the operation of the GT-BTX® unit.
