Houston, Texas, February 9, 2010 - GTC Technology US, LLC (GTC) announced today that it has signed an agreement to form a strategic alliance with SCG Chemicals and Süd-Chemie AG. In this new agreement, SCG Chemicals and Süd-Chemie AG have purchased minority interest in GTC. Under the new ownership structure, the company has changed its name to GTC Technology US, LLC effective immediately.  

 

The new strategic alliance will provide a strong platform to broaden GTC’s portfolio of products, research, manufacturing, technical service and sales support. GTC personnel, partners and clients can expect business to function as usual. GTC’s executive leadership team will continue to operate the business and remain sharply focused on delivering strategic solutions to clients and partners worldwide. GTC will also continue to maintain a high degree of security and control to protect the confidentiality and integrity of information entrusted by clients and partners.
