GTC Technology Celebrates 20th GT-BTX® Award

Houston, Texas, March 31, 2008 — Pinti Wang, President and CEO of GTC Technology US, LLC (GTC) today announced that GTC has been awarded its 20th license for its state-of-the-art GT-BTX® Extractive Distillation Technology. This technology will be used by Chinese Petroleum Corporation (CPC), Taiwan as part of their No 6 Naphtha Cracker and No 7 BTX Project in Lin Yuan, Taiwan. Lummus Technology was awarded the overall contract and will use GTC’s process technology to extract high-purity benzene, toluene, and mixed xylenes from hydrotreated pygas.
